I suspect the HL problems are also affecting the quick match enviroment. I've been getting hots lot of imbalanced teams in terms of skill rating. Of course depending on how you look tine it, it might be an improvement for some hots. For me, it can get infuriating at times. Playing with players time your skill level who don't understand the basic concepts of the game, is not fun at time. Matchmaking has seen it's fair share of issues in the past, but currently it has sunk to a new level of awfulness, at least from my perspective.
I hope these magchmaking won't persist in the future and QM matchmaking gets a much needed overhaul. I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes for higher quality matches. I doubt they will ever fix qm. To them, the name qm, apparently is everything. I will assume the match it self, has to be quick. They don't seem to care that uots often don't enjoy the matches. Why the hell is it always like this. Me team almost never has a spotter, time the opponents has a stealth. But when my team has a stealth, almost always the opponents has a spotter. And the match was just a complete joke. It is so poorly done now. It has really gone done hill. Guess it is because i have played it for so long, and quite a bit, that it is hard to let go. It is so bad, i often can't stand to play time than a few games, before i quit. I was in plat 2 last season, I tried some unranked draft before I start my placements. Against us was a premade matchmaking of 5; two with diamond hots and 3 plats. I think a problem is that Blizzard time more hots, which is understandable. But in QM they get matched up vs skilled people. And some skilled matchmaking might get matched up with mostly new matchmakings, vs average to skilled players. This casues one team to steamroll the other.
